Assessments
   ESC was possibly the first environmental consulting firm based in
Manatee & Sarasota counties to complete Phase I Environmental
Site Assessments (ESAs). The first project was completed in 1988.
ESC has Registered Environmental Property Assessors and a Professional Engineer on staff to complete ESAs the right way. ESC follows the
American Society of Testing & Materials’ (ASTM’s)
Phase I ESA Standard and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s
(EPA’s) All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) Standard. Phase I ESAs
are typically completed in two weeks or less. ESC has completed
Phase I ESAs on a wide range of properties, including office buildings,
industrial sites, undeveloped tracts, fuel stations, agricultural
land, and commercial parcels. ESC’s clientele are as diverse
as the properties.
 ESC has been completing Phase II ESAs for nearly as long as Phase
I ESAs. Being active in the fuel contamination, dry cleaner, and
manufacturing fields has given ESC’s staff keen insight into
assessing soil and groundwater contamination. ESC uses state of
the art technology and methods to complete the work typically in
three to four weeks. More details are provided on the Fuel &
Other Contamination page. If cleanup is required, ESC also has the
experience to assist. ESC can provide source removal (soil excavation),
bioremediation, and other cleanup techniques.
